On Sunday, the 16th of April 2023, Oru East was agog with beehive of activities as the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Vulnerable Groups represented the Imo State First Lady, Barr. Mrs. Chioma Uzodimma to Commission a two-bedroom Bungalow built for Mrs. Chekwube Ewelike, an indigent widow of Umuogwudi Abia Omuma by Kachi-buchi foundation, supported by His Excellency, Most.Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma, the Executive Governor of IMO state.
